GRUELING 5TH PLACE FINISH AT KING OF THE HAMMERS FOR VAUGHN!
Finishing in a little over 8 hours, Vaughn and his co-driver, Jesse Amyx, went on to his best finish at King of the Hammers with a 5th place finish at the toughest off-road race on the planet. Kicking off the 2021 Ultra4 Racing season Saturday, and in true Hammers fashion it was grueling featuring one of the hardest rock sections, King’s Graveyard, the competitors have seen in years.
The challenges of the day were no match for Vaughn and his teammate Loren Healy who took the checkered flag in 5th and 14th place, respectively. The Fun-Haver Off-Road Team’s finishes, along with Jason Scherer’s in another 4400 Bronco, ensured top 15 finishes for all three 4400 unlimited class Ford Broncos competing in the epic race!
