Vaughn Gittin Jr. Wraps Wild Weekend at FD Seattle
Ready to rock as soon as they got to the track Saturday, Vaughn and his Mustang RTR team fine-tuned everything in the final morning practice session prior to the Top 32 that afternoon. Car and driver were both dialed in taking the unanimous win over Pat Goodin setting up a meeting with Ken Gushi in the next round. Vaughn’s first battle with Gushi would go one more time and, unfortunately, the OMT would not go in Vaughn’s favor. However, the decision was not without some controversy which has led to a formal appeal being filed with Formula Drift. Despite the on and off-track excitement Vaughn left Seattle 7th in overall points, just 92 back of the leader with three events remaining.
Vaughn next heads to China this week before getting back behind the wheel of his Mustang RTR Spec 5-D at Formula Drift St. Louis August 8-10.
